Tax and Financial Planning for Growing Consultancies

By Andrew Goloboy, CPA

Managing Partner of Goloboy CPA LLC

As a CPA and owner/entrepreneur, Andrew will give a short presentation from the viewpoint of both an entrepreneur and tax professional. He will address your questions regarding business growth, business financial planning and the associated tax implications:

  • Which is the entity of choice for consultants?
  • How to I enhance working capital?
  • What plans exist for retirement savings?
  • How do I expand across states or internationally?
  • Where should I turn for tax advice?

About the Presenter

Andrew Goloboy launched Goloboy CPA in 2005 after several years of partnership with a Boston-based regional accounting and tax firm. Over the last seven years, Andrew has grown Goloboy CPA from 40 clients to 300, focusing on technology companies, professional service providers, executive tax planning, and non-profits. His staff has expanded from two flex-time employees to five, and his growth rate has been around 15% a year.

Andrew has 25 years of experience as an accountant and business consultant. As managing partner of Goloboy CPA, Andrew blends his deft CPA skills with his deep background in technology strategy, information systems, and product management. He earned his MBA, cum laude, from Babson College and holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Amherst College. After Babson, he worked at SAP America as a technology consultant and at IDC managing ERP software research. He is active in the Boston entrepreneurial community, sponsoring the 128 Innovation Capital Group and the WPI Venture Forum, where he serves on the program committee.
