Description
An Insider's Guide
to Building a Successful Consulting Practice
by Bruce Katcher
How do you move your consulting practice to the next level?
Bruce Katcher will share the advantages and disadvantages of 22 different consulting business models such as charging for your time, charging by the project, charging for the time of others, the freemium model, and the razor blade model. He will challenge each of us to try to step out of our comfort zones by considering the possibility of moving our consulting practice to the next level by using one or more models that are different than the one we currently use.
Bruce will also discuss the advantages and disadvantages of 18 different methods of marketing our businesses to clients. He will compare and contrast them on a number of factors including their cost, the time commitment to implement, and the type of consulting skills needed to successfully execute.
