Communications strategist Greg Stone will show you how to tell a compelling, colorful story about your business — with the help of a few sumptuous visuals of masterpieces. You will also learn how to apply the villain-victim-hero format, under the theory that “scoundrels” are your best friends when it comes to presentations.
Media strategist Greg Stone began his career as a writer at Time Inc. in New York and later worked as a TV reporter in Minneapolis, Boston, and on PBS. His professional honors include three Emmy nominations.
Turning down an offer to anchor at CNN, Greg founded Stone Communications in 1989. Since then he has conducted media and presentation skills workshops for high-level executives for a broad range of clients including Fidelity, IBM, Osram, 3M, the World Wide Web Consortium and many deans at Harvard University. He is also the “official media trainer” for the faculty at Harvard Business School.
Greg is the author of the acclaimed book Artful Business: 50 Lessons from Creative Geniuses and the forthcoming Villains, Victims and Heroes: Harnessing the Power of Messages and Stories For Business and Career Success (to be published by Praeger this year). He holds an AB from Harvard University and two master’s degrees from Columbia University in journalism and business.
